Together with the CCI2*, CCI3* and the CCI4* also the Belgian Championship for Seniors took place in Arville.
Here it was Lara de Liedekerke who prolonged her Belgian Title with a home victory!
De Liedekerke already took the lead after a perfect dressage test with a score of 31,90. Unfortunately 5,20 penalties were added to the score after the jumping, making her fall back to provisionally second place. In the cross country the pair picked up only 8 time penalties, ending on a total score of 45,10, securing a win in the Belgian Championship with Alpaga d'Arville (Wunder Boy van de Zuuthoeve)! Joris Vanspringel picks up the silver medal with Creator GS (Kreator). Before the cross country, the pair stood on fifth place, but thanks to only adding 10 time penalties after the cross, the combination finished on 51,60 in total.
Senne Vervaecke takes home a bronze medal. He was taking the lead with Feebe van Alsingen (Wandor van de Mispelaere) after the first two parts, but unfortunately saw 19,60 time penalties added to his score, ending on a total of 53,60.
Donna Vanhee and Kind Light van Hof ter Ede (Champs Elysees) finished 4th with 61,00 while Kris Vervaecke and Hopper ten Hunsel (Cartier van de Heffinck) ended 5th with a total of 62,50.
