The « Event Rider Masters » calendar is out

The Event Riding Masters calender is out !

Composed of six stages in 2019, the first world series Eventing continues its international expansion with the organization of contest in France and Ireland.
Launched in 2016, the ERM combines the traditional full two-day competition and offers live coverage and TV programs from each of the three disciplines - dressage, show jumping and cross-country - in more than 100 countries around the world. .
The ERM is the most prestigious series in the Eventing sport.

It offers the world's best riders an international scene on which an unprecedented total prize money of € 400,000 is taking place.
It is the Australian Chris Burton, holder of the title in 2018, but also winner that same year in Arville, who will put his title in play.
 
The 2019 schedule :
Step 1 - Dodson & Horrell Chatsworth International Horse Trials - GBR - May 11-12
Step 2 - Wiesbadener Pfingstturnier International - GER - June 7th to 8th
Stage 3 - Complete contest D'Arville - BEL - 22 to 23 June
Stage 4 - Full Contest - Haras de Jardy - FRA - July 13 to 14
Step 5 - Millstreet International Horse Trials - IRL - August 24-25
Step 6 - Lignières en Berry International Complete Contest - FRA - October 5th to 6th

All ERM TV images, including live, digital and 8 TV shows, will continue to be produced by Red Handed TV and distributed worldwide through more than 30 TV channel partners broadcasted by LCTV.

Event Rider Masters Announces Six Date 2019 Calendar

 

The Event Rider Masters (ERM) has today confirmed its 2019 Calendar. Consisting of six legs, including two brand new European locations, this year is set to continue the impressive international expansion of the world's top Eventing series with new legs in France and Ireland. 
 
Launched in 2016, ERM condenses the traditional equestrian three-day event into two days. Including all three disciplines - Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country, each phase of every world-class competitor is live streamed and included in a post produced television highlights show which airs in 101 countries worldwide.
 
ERM is the most valuable Series in the sport of Eventing. It provides the world’s most successful Event Riders with an international stage on which to compete for an unprecedented total prize-money fund of £350,000. The prize pot for the UK leg is £50,000 while each European leg offers €57,000. The riders compete for the much-coveted ERM Series Championship Title and an additional £50,000 series prize fund shared by the top three riders at the end of the season.
 
Reigning ERM Champion, Australia's Chris Burton will be seeking to defend the title he won in 2018, edging out Great Britain's Laura Collett and New Zealand's Tim Price. 
 

The 2019 Event Rider Masters Calendar is confirmed as:
Leg 1 - The Dodson & Horrell Chatsworth International Horse Trials GBR 11th – 12th May
Leg 2 - Internationales Wiesbadener Pfingstturnier GER 7th – 8th June
Leg 3 - Concours Complet D’Arville BEL 22nd – 23rd June
Leg 4 - Les Haras de Jardy Eventing Show FRA 13th – 14th July
Leg 5 - Millstreet International Horse Trials IRL 24th – 25th August
Leg 6 The Finale - Concours Complet International Lignières en Berry FRA 5th – 6th October

 
Providing spectacular settings for each leg, the six ERM venues located in Belgium, England, France, Germany & Ireland are renowned for hosting some of the most prestigious events in the sport.

Editors’ Note
Launched in 2016, the Event Rider Masters series comprises 6 legs each encompassing 3 phases, where each phase is completed by the same horse and rider combination. Phase 1 Dressage, Phase 2 Show Jumping and Phase 3 Cross Country; all at the CCI4*S level of Federation Equestrian Internationale (FEI) approved competition. Dressage and Show Jumping are arena based, while Cross Country covers a track of between 3.4 kms and 4kms in length comprising between 30 – 35 solid jumping obstacles.
